Portage County Crime Stoppers: Silver coins stolen

In April, Stevens Point Officers responded to a report of a burglary in the 1300 Block of Michigan Ave. The victim reported that sometime between April 14th and April 20th someone entered his home and removed a large quantity of silver coins. Approximately 270 coins were taken valued at over $4500. The coins had been stored in a vintage, Star Trek Lunch box which was also stolen.
