Motorcyclist hurt when car turns in front of him

WESTON (WAOW) – A motorcyclist was taken to hospital after hitting a car that turned in front of him Monday, an investigator said.

The crash happened about 8:15 a.m. at the intersection of Camp Phillips Road and Weston Avenue, according to the Everest Metro Police Department.

The motorcyclist, who was not wearing a helmet, suffered non-life-threatening injuries, a lieutenant said.

The female driver of car was northbound on Camp Phillips Roads when she turned in front of the southbound motorcyclist, the lieutenant said.

The driver of the car was not hurt. The age of the motorcyclist was not immediately released.
