Marshfield intersection closing temporarily for study

Marshfield (WAOW) -- Beginning on Wednesday morning, May 21st, 2014 at 6:00 am North Maple Avenue at its crossing of the railroad tracks will be closed for three weeks.

This temporary closure has been suggested by the Office of Commissioner of Railroads as a result of the recent increase in train versus vehicle collisions at this crossing.

The City of Marshfield is looking for your comments and concerns as a result of the temporary road closure of Maple Avenue. The City has a survey posted on it's website to gather comments from citizens and the general public affected by the closure. You can find that by clicking this link.

There will be no detour posted for this road closure.
