Putting pedal to asphalt for Idea Charter School

Weston (WAOW) -- The Idea Charter School is hosting an inaugural bike rally to help raise money for the school.

The rally is Saturday, May 31.  It starts at 9:00 a.m. in the school parking lot at 4704 Camp Phillips Road.

There will be three courses set up, from one mile to more than 14 miles long.

Children ages 10 and under are free to participate.  There's a charge for older students and adults.  There is a family price available.  You can find that information at ideabikerally.com.

School leaders say the money raised at the bike rally will assist in the recruitment of more students, bring awareness to the community about the school, and to off-set the rising expenses associated with educating our youth.
