Third man arrested in Stevens Point park beating

 STEVENS POINT (WAOW) - A 23-year-old man has turned himself in to police in the Memorial Day assault at a Stevens Point park that left a man severely beaten, Sgt. Tony Babl said Thursday.

Angelo Garcia, who turned himself in Tuesday, was arrested on suspicion of substantial battery and disorderly conduct, Babl said in a statement.

Two other men, ages 18 and 26, were arrested earlier.

The attack at Iverson Park occurred May 26 about 5:30 p.m. The man beaten was taken to a hospital and has been released.
