Mike McCarthy golfing for a cause

Mike McCarthy did what a lot of people would do on a day off. He played golf. The difference is he was also raising $425,000 for American Family Children's Hospital.

The Packers coach and his wife hosted the fifth annual "McCarthy Golf Invitational" in Oregon, Wisconsin.
The event has raised more than 1.2 million dollars for the hospital.

On Tuesday, it's back to work with another round of OTA's. McCarthy says he likes what he's seeing from his team, particularly on defense where he has vowed to show significant improvement.

"It's confidence in our scheme evaluation. You know our structure doesn't stray too much as far as how we approach things. Now what comes out of that approach, the evaluation. You have to have flexibility. You've got to be able to change. You've got to be able to adjust. You've got to really be able to get down to what the hell you're going to emphasize and what kind of football team you're going to be. I feel really good about what we're emphasizing on defense, the flexibility and versatility with the players that we have and make sure we're having the things, the packages and the defensive personality utilization in place for us to be an impactful defense throughout the whole season and into the playoffs."
