Thursday Sports Report: Mosinee advances to D2 title game

In its first state softball appearance ever, Mosinee cruised to a 6-0 win over McFarland in a Division 2 State Semifinal. The Indians will play New London on Saturday for the Division 2 state title. Click here for a box score from Mosinee's semifinal win.
On the contrary, SPASH made its 16th state softball appearance Thursday afternoon. However, Kimberly used a big sixth inning to defeat the Panthers 6-4 in a Division 1 State Quarterfinal. Click here for a box score.
