Pittsville's season ends at State Tournament

The Pittsville baseball team had to wake up before 6 A.M. to prepare for an 8:00 first pitch, only to have to wait more than 5 hours to take the field because of stormy weather.

Lake Country Lutheran would win 13-2.

The Panthers season ends in the state semifinals with a 21-5 record on the year.

Pittsville Senior Brad Wesley says, "Whenever our team is down I always make sure they pick themselves up then pick each other up, that's what this team needs next year is a leader."
