Portage County Crime Stoppers: Abandoned puppies

PORTAGE COUNTY (WAOW) - On June 8, a couple was out enjoying the day at South Jordan Park on Hwy 66 in the Township of hull when they discovered a grizzly sight. They saw six puppies huddled around one dead puppy. The puppies appeared to be a boxer-mix breed.

The dead puppy appeared to have been beaten to death and the remaining puppies were left for dead.

Since the recovery of these puppies five out of six have been adopted and all are healthy.

Sergeant Tony Babl from the Portage County Crime Stoppers is asking for your help. If you have any information about this abuse to animals or any other crime, you can remain anonymous and still be eligible for a cash reward.

Remember crime doesn't pay but Crime Stoppers does. Call Portage County Crime Stoppers at 1-888-346-6600.
