Woodchucks, Rafters both lose Friday

The Woodchucks and Rafters both fell to their respective opponents on Friday.

The Rafters played a day game against the Kenosha Kingfish. After trading runs on bases loaded-walks early in the game, the Kingfish eventually pulled away to claim a 4-3 victory.

The Rafters are now 0-3 in the season's second half.

The Woodchucks hosted South Division rival La Crosse, and held the score close early. However, the Loggers eventually pulled away, winning 8-2 and knocking the Woodchucks second half record to 2-1.

The Woodchucks travel to Kenosha Saturday to play four games in two days against the Kingfish. They return home on Monday.

The Rafters play their third game of an eight game homestand Saturday. First pitch is scheduled for 6:05.
