The Woodchucks and Rafters both won their respective games Tuesday night.

The 'Chucks opened up a two game series with the Northwoods League's only Canadian team, the Thunder Bay Border Cats, winning the series opening 5-4.

Wisconsin trailed 2-1 after three innings, before tying the game with a run in the fourth inning. The Woodchucks then exploded for three runs in the sixth inning, and went on to win 5-4. They are now 5-4 in the second half of the season, two games back of the Lakeshore Chinooks for first place in the South Division.

The Rafters were locked in a scoreless game with the Madison Mallards until the fourth, when the Rafters took the lead for good. Wisconsin Rapids scored one run in the fourth and fifth innings, and two runs in both the seventh and eighth innings, en route to a 6-2 win over Madison.
