Team captains are eligible for prizes during team week July 16th – July 21st.

WAUSAU, WI – July 11, 2014 – The 5th Annual Central Wisconsin Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure is just weeks away and it’s time to talk teams. The Komen Central Wisconsin Race Committee members have accumulated some fantastic prizes for TEAM WEEK this year and are excited to get started.

Team captains must form their team using the race registration Web site by Wednesday, July 16th. Each captain will receive daily e-mails informing them of their team member building and fundraising challenge. The captains who meet the challenge will win prizes from local small businesses. Captains may also follow Komen Central Wisconsin on Facebook and Twitter to get their daily challenge. Two large prizes will be given away to the captains who raise the most funds and/or add the most team members during TEAM WEEK.
