Health officials provide tips to avoid heat stroke

Health officials have some safety tips to prevent heat stroke with the warmer temperatures.
Officials with the Marathon County Health Department say signs of heat stroke are fatigue and dizziness. Another big sign is red dry skin, since the body isn't sweating properly.
They say if someone has these symptoms, there are things you can immediately do to help.
"Get an individual into a cool area or air conditioning,” said Dale Grosskurth, the environmental safety and health director. “Mist them down, put a fan on them because the body because the body is overheating."
Officials say you should get medical help immediately if you have signs of heat stroke.
