Taylor County Fair leaders say interest in the event increased this year.
Fair leaders say attendance numbers and the amount of participants were both higher compared to last year's fair.
The fair started on Thursday and wrapped up Sunday evening.
Organizers say more than a thousand people per day attended the grandstand events.
"We've been able to rally around other aspects of farming and agriculture and entertainment and have other reasons for people to come to the fair and find out what they've been missing all these years and reconnect with various groups in the community," said Kimberly Schafer, Taylor County Fair Manager.
Organizers say the fair also brought in tourism dollars to the area.
They say hotels and restaurants saw a boost in business throughout the weekend.
