WAUSAU (WAOW) -- The grills were hot and the food was tasty during Sunday afternoon's 5th annual "Guys Who Grill" event.
The grill-out benefits the YWCA in Wausau.
For $35, guests got to explore the 19 food stations and pile their plates with whatever they wanted.
Organizers say a mix of professionals and amateurs who just love barbecuing in their yards made up the group of chefs.
"Once people come to this event one time, they'll come back year after year," said the YWCA's executive director Ann Saris. "It's an all-you-can-eat buffet of the best summer food I've ever had, and there's something for everyone. We have some vegetarian, we have pizzas, we have slider burgers."
Organizers say they were able to raise close to $8,000.
The money will go to the YWCA and their mission of empowering women and fighting for racial justice.
