Cobb: "I haven't done enough" for contract extension

GREEN BAY (WKOW) -- With Jordy Nelson now under contract through 2018, the focus has shifted to Randall Cobb who is in the final year of his rookie deal in Green Bay. Though at this point, Cobb doesn't feel he deserves an extension.

"I don't believe I've done enough," Cobb said, "and I think that's on me."

Cobb missed 10 games during the 2013 season after suffering a fractured tibia on October 13 against the Baltimore Ravens.

"I got injured in a way that there was nothing I could do about it. I think my job is just to come out here every day, do what I'm supposed to, continue to work hard, and hopefully my time will come," Cobb said.

Entering his fourth NFL season, Cobb made it clear his focus is on football.

"I know the business, I understand that, so I'm trying to focus on day-to-day and handling what I can, and letting the business side, letting my agent handle that. If I'm meant to get an extension, it'll come when it is supposed to. I've told my agent, don't even come to me until he feels like we're at a good spot. I'm not going to worry about it. I'm not going to stress over it," Cobb said.
