Aaron Rodgers has yet to play a season with the same tackles for entire year. The closest he came was in 2010 when Chad Clifton started all 20 games at left tackle, and Bryan Bulaga started the last 16, including the Super Bowl, at right tackle.
Bulaga is back on the right side, and more importantly, back on the field. A hip injury ended his 2012 season after 9 games, and he blew out his knee in last year's family night scrimmage after spending the entire offseason making the switch to left tackle.
David Bakhtiari's rookie performance took his place, and Bulaga won't get the chance to prove he can handle the left side.
"I guess when the opportunity is presented, you're excited to go and ready to do it, but you get hurt, someone jumps in and does a good job. You have to go back where they tell you to go back to, and that's the case now. A year and half of something you love doing is taken away, it mentally wears on you a little bit."
