Children in Wausau met the Fairest of the Wisconsin Valley Fair.
Saturday morning she hosted a tea party.
Young girls decorated sashes and picked out their very own tiara and jewelry.
Dozens of children attended the party.
The Fairest of the Fair says this event is a way for her to inspire younger generations.
"I'm definitely a 4-H-er at heart so I definitely promote 4-H because that's I got Fairest of the Fair and then I try to tell them everything that's going on at the fair that day so that way they can get involved too," McKenzie Valenta, Fairest of the Fair.
The Fairest of the Fair says she's preparing to compete in the state competition.
