5,000 fans show up for Badgers Scrimmage game

Posted:

At least 5,000 fans came out to get a glimpse of the 2014 Badgers scrimmage game on Sunday to get a glimpse of some troubles with the quarterbacks.

Tanner McEvoy completed one to open tight end Austin Traylor. Stave connected with the emerging receiver Reggie Love. You get the sense that Stave may have the upper-hand at this point, but Mcevoy is still pushing for playing time.

Melvin Gordon spent most of scrimmage as a spectator, while Corey Clement showed some flashes.

The loudest cheer seemed to be for freshman kicker Rafael Gaglianone who drilled a 55-yard field goal.

The best defensive play came from freshman safety Lubern Figaro's pick-6 of DJ Gillins.
