Two injured in Oneida County rollover



Two people were injured after a rollover in Oneida County early Saturday morning, according to Oneida County Sheriff's Department officials.

Authorities say they responded to Darr Street in the Town of Pelican around 5:40 a.m. Saturday for a report of a one vehicle rollover.

Officials believe a male driver was backing up while a female was standing on the running board. They say the vehicle overturned, trapping the female underneath.

Officials say the woman was transported by helicopter and the man  was transported by ambulance.

Sheriff's officials say after the man was released from the hospital, he was arrest for possession of THC, possession of drug paraphernalia, reckless driving causing great bodily harm, and a probation hold.

The crash is still under investigation.
