D.C. Everest senior forward Maddie Mittelsteadt has given a verbal commitment to play soccer for the Wisconsin Badgers.In her junior campaign, Mittelsteadt was named the Wisconsin Valley Conference player of the year and led the Evergreens to a silver ball in the program's first ever trip to the state tournament. She is the first player in Evergreens history to be named first-team all-state by the Wisconsin Soccer Coaches Association. The stellar forward broke school records in 2014, scoring 33 goals and totaling 73 points. She also became the program's all-time leading scorer with 153 career points through three seasons.
