JANESVILLE (WKOW) -- Authorities in Janesville arrested a man for his 6th OWI on Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Janesville Police Department, 48-year-old Randy Bluhm was stopped after an officer noticed his erratic driving. They say a green Buick Regal made a wide turn nearly striking a cub, over-corrected and crossed the center line. When the officer made the stop, Bluhm ran over a curb and nearly struck a parked car.

Bluhm was found with an open can of beer in the center console and admitted to drinking. He also told the officer that he had smoked marijuana about 20 minutes earlier. Bluhm failed a field sobriety test and was taken to the Rock County jail where he remains in custody until his court appearance.

Bluhm was charged with operating while intoxicated (6th offense), operating after revocation, open intoxicants in a car by the driver and driving without insurance.
