Hundreds of runners put on a colorful display for a cause in Rhinelander.
Big Brother Big Sisters of Northwestern Wisconsin hosted the Color Dash on Saturday.
The race was a 5K with a twist as runners got splashed with paint throughout the race.
Organizers say about 300 people participated.
"Splashed with color at four different stations, big party at the end where you get splashed again," said Craig Monson, Big Brother Big Sisters of Northwestern Wisconsin CEO. "You really can't beat it, you just come out and have a ton of fun and get covered in color."
Proceeds from the race went to Big Brothers Big Sisters.
Event leaders say they hope to raise $5,000 for the organization.
