High school students head back to school in Kronenwetter

KRONENWETTER (WAOW) - While some students are enjoying their last few days of summer, some in our area are already back to school.

Monday was the first day for Northland Lutheran High School in Kronenwetter. Students were already taking notes in class and reuniting with their classmates.

The school's principal said teachers have been planning for the first day for months, but it's worth it once they see these students again.

"It's so exciting to see their faces again,” said Ryan Wiechmann, the school's principal. “You know the teachers miss them too. We really develop a strong connection with them as we learn with them and help them grow. It's exciting to reunite with them a little bit."

The school started the first day with an opening service.
