More free concerts coming in Wausau

WAUSAU (WAOW) -- There's still a chance to catch some free music at the 400 Block before summer ends.

Tuesday night the Wausau Chamber of Commerce is hosting a free concert.

The ten-person horn band called "Hip Pocket" will perform.

Chamber leaders say this is how they're thanking their businesses for all that they do.

"It's important for us as a business, but for our community as a whole as well," said the Chamber's membership support specialist Sara Guild. "We need to have involved businesses, involved volunteers, involved people to build the relationships to make this community the great awesome place that it is."

The concert runs from 6 to 8 p.m.

Newsline 9 is a proud sponsor of the concert. Our own Nate Barrett and Justin Loew will be taking the stage.
