BOSCOBEL (WKOW) -- A Green County man is facing charges after police say he was in possession of heroin.
Andrew Adams, 24, of Boscobel was driving near Boscobel Elementary School Tuesday, when a Grant County Deputy attempted to pull his vehicle over. Once Adams stopped, a K-9 unit detected the odor of narcotics in the car. Investigators believe Adams disposed of a bag of heroin and a hypodermic needle near the elementary school during the initial pursuit.
Police also located drug paraphernalia in the car.
Adams is facing charges of OWI (2nd offense), possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, bail jumping and operating after suspension. He was taken to the Grant County Jail.
