Komen Central Wisconsin is hosting a private cooking lesson at the Wausau Country Club this Thursday night.
"Cooking for the Cure" will raise money for breast cancer awareness.
Guests at the event will be treated to a four course cooking demonstration by the Wausau Country Club's executive chef, John Greene.
Chef Greene gave Newsline 9 a sneak peak at the appetizer he will be making for the event: pumpkin blinis with ginger sage sausage topped with a Door County cherry marmalade. For those recipes, click here.
Tickets are $60 per person. Seating is limited.
The night also includes raffle drawings and a silent auction.
