Packers will see familiar face in Dolphins coaching staff

The Packers hit the road this weekend to take on the Miami Dolphins. It's only week 6, but this is already Green Bay's 4th road game of the year.

This Sunday Green Bay will see a familiar face in the Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin who spent 9 years with the Packers. It will be the first time head coach Mike McCarthy is facing a team with a head coach that was one of his former assistants.

McCarthy says, "I'm looking forward to it. I'm very proud of Joe and thankful for our relationship and time together, but this is a game that both teams need."

Aaron Rodgers remembers his time in Green Bay, "I knew from my second or third year that he had head coach potential and I'm glad to see him get an opportunity."

The Packers/Dolphins game in Miami back in 1988 is tied for the 8th warmest road game Green Bay has ever played. While most of the players weren't even born yet, Coach is making sure their bodies are prepared.

McCarthy, "You always talk about hydration and educate about hydration, I think what we've done this year with the new program in place it's an every day deal for us."

The Dolphins hold a 10-3 advantage in the all-time series, but Green Bay has won 3 of the last 5 match-up-ups.
