Packers lead Panthers 38-3 after three quarters

Posted:
GREEN BAY (WAOW) -- Behind three touchdown passes from Aaron Rodgers, the Packers lead the Carolina Panthers 38-3 at the end of the third quarter.

The Packers offense exploded early, outscoring the Panthers 21-0 in the first quarter, before taking a 28-3 lead into halftime.

Rodgers have thrown touchdown passes to Jordy Nelson, Randall Cobb and Davonte Adams, who will be the guest on Pack Attack Monday at Dale's Weston Lanes.

Eddie Lacy and James Starks have also ran for touchdowns, and Mason Crosby added a 34-yard field goal with eight seconds remaining in the third quarter.

The Packers defense has intercepted Carolina's Cam Newton once, and held the Panthers to just 222 yards through three quarters.

The Packers are looking for their fourth consecutive victory. A win would improve them to 5-2 on the season.
