Incumbent republican State Senator Jerry Petrowski will face off against democratic challenger Paul Demain in a 29th State Senate District debate on Tuesday, Oct. 28 at UWMC.
Petrowski served in the State Assembly from 1999 until 2012, when he was elected to the State Senate during a recall election. He has served in the United States Army Reserve and has worked as a ginseng and dairy farmer. He also currently serves on a number of different committees.
Demain is running for state office for the first time. Demain is a member of the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin and of Ojibwe decent.
The debate will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 28 at UWMC at 7 p.m.
