Polls open in Wisconsin; no photo ID needed

MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Polls have opened in Wisconsin, where voters are deciding close gubernatorial and attorney general races, filling an open congressional seat and telling legislators whether money collected for state roads should be dedicated to that purpose.

Residents can vote until 8 p.m.

It's possible to register at the polls by showing proof of residency, including a driver's license, real estate tax bill or bank statement. No photo ID is required to vote after the U.S. Supreme Court blocked the state's voter photo ID law last month.
