Walker visits Wausau college two days after elections

WAUSAU (WAOW) -- Two days after being re-elected, Republican Governor Scott Walker is on the road again.

Thursday, he traveled across Wisconsin to meet and speak with students at five technical colleges. That morning, he made a stop at Northcentral Technical College in Wausau.

There has been talk of Walker running for president in 2016.

In recent interviews, he has brushed off the claim. He says he wants to focus on Wisconsin and improving the state.

"I'm really focused on getting Wisconsin working again. We've got some big bold ideas. We've met with our cabinet. We're going to be meeting with our legislative leadership in the next couple days," said Walker.

Political consultants have said potential presidential candidates will need to announce campaigns within the next four months.
