Packers prepare for another defining test

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WAOW) -- A week after dismantling their arch-rival in primetime, another defining test faces the Packers today at Lambeau field.

Green Bay (6-3) takes on NFC foe Philadelphia (7-2) today at 3:25 p.m. in a game that could go a long way in determining playoff seeding in the NFC.

The Packers are looking to keep their Lambeau momentum going. They are 4-0 at home this season, winning those four games by a combined 166-65.

Meanwhile, the Eagles have struggled on the road, managing a 2-2 record away from Philadelphia.

Philadelphia features an up-tempo offense, managed by second-year head coach Chip Kelly. Two weeks ago, the Eagles lost starting quarterback Nick Foles to a broken collarbone, but backup Mark Sanchez stepped in and threw for 322 yards and two touchdowns in Monday night's blowout win over the Carolina Panthers.

Sanchez, who spent the first five years of his career with the Jets, has been interception-prone, so the opportunistic Packers defense will surely be looking to capitalize and take the ball away. The Packers have intercepted 12 passes this season, ranking them fifth in the league.

The game is at 3:25 p.m. on FOX, and Newsline 9 will have full coverage from Lambeau tonight on Newsline 9 at 10.
