The Boys and Girls Club in Plover is ready to reveal a newly renovated kitchen.
It's a project that was all made possible by a $27,350 grant from the Lowe's Foundation, along with funds and help from a local Lowe's store.
Staff members from the Boys and Girls Club said the new kitchen was necessary to meet the needs of an increasing number of children coming to the facility.
The kitchen was transformed from a residential kitchen to a commercial kitchen.
"It was exciting to work with different community partners to design and layout the new kitchen and to see how generous everyone was. They knew this was a worthy project as it was benefiting the youth of Portage County," said Peter Gebhardt, the Director of Club Site Operations.
