Doors opened at 6 a.m. at Fleet Farm early Friday morning for Orange Friday. People were lined up by 4:30 in the morning.
The first 500 people to come through the doors got a free hat.
Friday is the last day to stock up on hunting supplies before the start of gun deer season begins.
"The hot item every year is always snacks. People always come in for beef jerky, nuts, candy licorice," said Ben Anderson, the store manager.
Anderson also said he expects the cold weather to drive business, because hunters will need to buy cold weather gear.
Paul Kloos died after a manure pit exploded Friday morning, according to the Marathon County Sheriff's Department.
