The Monday after Thanksgiving has been dubbed Cyber Monday.
It has been the biggest online shopping day since 2010.
Online only retailers and store websites are listing big deals and promotions to lure shoppers in.
Research firm comScore expects people to spend about $2.5 billion on Cyber Monday this year.
Some of the best places to score big savings on Cyber Monday are on apparel, consumer electronics, and health and beauty products, said Trae Bodge, the senior editor at RetailMeNot.com.
Going online isn't the only way to find deep discounts this holiday season.
"First check your local small business, or any local business to see what they have. Ask them if they can match pricing," said Jeff Wickersham, the owner at Wickersham Jewelry.
He says that money spent at local businesses can be used to support the community.
