According to the Department of Agriculture, Wisconsin produces about a quarter of the nation's cheese.
When Mullins Cheese first opened up more than 40 years ago, company officials say they were making about 2,000 pounds of cheese a day.
Now, the plants in Knowlton and Marshfield each make about 240,000 pounds of cheese every single day.
