Police: Man killed by police likely is suspected Denmark shooter
COPENHAGEN, Denmark (AP) -- Danish police say it appears the gunman responsible for two deadly shootings in the capital is dead -- killed when he opened fire on officers near a Copenhagen train station.
Investigators say there's nothing that suggests that there were other gunmen involving in the shootings that left two people dead and five police officers wounded at a free speech event and outside a synagogue. The gunman in those attacks got away.
A statement posted early Sunday by police says the train station shooting occurred after police put an address near the train station under observation. The statement says no police officers were wounded.
