WAUSAU (WAOW) - Marathon County Crime Stoppers is searching for an arsonist who destroyed a camper and a pickup truck.
Investigators say the two fires were intentionally set northeast of Wausau in the rural Town of Harrison.
"The first fire involved a camper in a wooded area and that one happened between March 3 and 13 and it heavily damaged the camper. Then on March 14 or 15, the arsonist set a pickup truck on fire and destroyed it at a nearby home," said Capt. Dale Wisnewski of the Marathon County Sheriff's Department.
Both fires erupted on properties near county highways Y and 52.
The items set on fire are owned by different people and both were uninsured, investigators said.
