STEVENS POINT (WAOW) -
A professor at UW-Stevens Point has some unique art on display, and it's all from one symbol.
Jillian Noble made one ampersand, or an “and” symbol, every day for 100 days. She started creating them back in September of 2013 through a special website, and now 40 of the symbols are on display.
Noble says it took a lot of work and long hours to create all the symbols, but she says seeing the finished product made all the hard work worth it.
"Some days it was really, really crazy, and I stayed up late the night before doing sketches, so the next day you know sometimes inspiration would hit and I would get it done,” said Noble. “So not all of them are perfect, but they got done."
The ampersands are on display at the university until April 19th. It is free for anyone to check out.
