(WBAY) --- People looking to honor a Wisconsin State Trooper killed in the line of duty are urged to turn on a blue light.The Heroes Memorial Foundation has announced a lights on event for Trooper Trevor Casper.
The foundation asks people to turn on a blue light on their porch or in a window to remember Trooper Casper and the community of Fond du Lac.
Casper was killed March 24 during a shootout with a bank robbery suspect in Fond du Lac. The Kiel native was 21-years-old. He received his badge in December 2014.
The Blue Light memorial for Trooper Casper goes until April 1, 2015.
