Wisconsin signs high school forward Khalil Iverson

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Wisconsin will fortify its frontcourt this fall after signing high school senior Khalil Iverson signed a national letter of intent on Wednesday to play with the Badgers.

The 6-foot-5 Iverson averaged 17 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists this season at Hayes High School in Delaware, Ohio. He'll join current sophomores Nigel Hayes and Vitto Brown as Wisconsin forwards from Ohio.

The Badgers frontcourt is losing Wooden Award winner Frank Kaminsky and reserve Duje Dukan. Junior Sam Dekker is skipping his senior season to enter the NBA draft.

Wisconsin in November received commitments from two other forwards in 6-foot-9 Alex Illikainen from Grand Rapids, Minnesota, and 6-foot-8 Charlie Thomas from Clarksville, Maryland.

Guard Brevin Pritzl from De Pere, Wisconsin, also committed to Wisconsin in the fall.
