LINCOLN CO. (WAOW)-- A child was sent to the hospital Saturday after being hit by a car in the Town of Bradley, that's according to the Lincoln County Sheriff's Department.
Authorities say a child was riding a bike around 7:15 p.m. on County Highway A, just north of Tomahawk.
They say a 32-year-old woman was driving and struck the child on the shoulder of the highway.
The driver later told authorities she became distracted after she dropped something in her car.

The driver of the car was not injured.
Authorities say they do not believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.
No names have been released.
The crash remains under investigation.
