A program in Milwaukee is helping veterans across the country deal with post-traumatic stress disorder through music.
It's called "Guitars for Vets."
Two companies in Milwaukee County are donating 12 acoustic guitars and some instructional books so the vets can learn how to play.
The president of Kraft Music says it's the least they can do to help those who have given so much to the country.
"As they've been deployed and defending our freedom, we've been able to build a company, and when Patrick asked me to get involved, it was kind of a natural, this is something we can do to give back," said Ben Kraft, president of Kraft Music.
The veterans have to take a music class at the VA hospital before getting their guitars.
