E-mail service offers "undo send" button

(CNN) -- For anyone who's ever written something disastrously personal, but accidentally hit "reply all" and looped in everyone else via e-mail, the need for an "undo send" button is clear.

Finally, there may be a way to reverse damage like that.

Gmail now gives users the option to set time delay between 5 and 30 seconds before sending an e-mail with the "undo send" button.

Users can enable the function by clicking on the gear wheel icon at the top right of the Gmail display hub, then adjusting "settings."

Google has already started updating accounts, but it could take two weeks for everyone to see the changes.
