4 injured in gunfight after family gathering turns bad
MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a Saturday shooting that injured four people, including an 11-year-old boy.
The Milwaukee Police Department says the incident started at a family gathering in northern Milwaukee. Around 5 p.m. during the gathering, a 22-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman grabbed handguns and shot at each other.
Both were hit by gunfire, as were another 30-year-old female and an 11-year-old boy. All four were taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Authorities say the two shooters were arrested after being treated.
