NEW YORK- A former intern says she was overworked and underpaid by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's licensing and manufacturing company.
Shaista Lalani has sued saying she worked 50 hours a week but wasn't paid.
Lalani filed a class-action lawsuit against Dualstar Entertainment Group in Manhattan's state Supreme Court.
Lalani says she worked from May to September 2012. The Daily News reports the lawsuit claims interns were misclassified as exempt from minimum wage requirements.
Lalani says her responsibilities included inputting data into spreadsheets, doing errands for paid employees, cutting patterns, photocopying and sewing.
A spokeswoman tells the Post the company wasn't aware of the lawsuit and declined to comment further.
The 29-year-old twins founded the company when they were 6.
