A Ball State University freshman started his college career with a swish.
Lem Turner was chosen Thursday at a freshman pep rally to try and sink a half-court basketball shot.
He did just that. It won him free tuition, too.
Turner is a bit of an athlete in his own right. He's a member of Ball State's men's volleyball team, and he played basketball in high school.
It's the second time in three years a Ball State freshman made a half-court shot at the pep rally.
A bizarre situation in Marathon County after two big bucks were found dead in a man's backyard.
