Police say Thai bomb investigation hampered by non-functioning security cameras

Posted:

BANGKOK (AP) -- Thailand's police chief says the investigation into last week's bomb attack at a Bangkok shrine has been hampered by broken security cameras along the main suspect's getaway route.

Last Monday's bombing killed 20 people and left scores of others wounded.

Police have released an artist sketch of the prime suspect who's seen in security camera footage leaving a backpack at a bench at the shrine and walking away about 15 minutes before the blast.
