Wisconsin man convicted of woman's fatal shooting

JEFFERSON, Wis. (AP) -- A jury has convicted a 33-year-old Wisconsin man of killing the mother of his child.
A Jefferson County jury on Saturday convicted Michael Henderson of Waterloo on one count of first-degree intentional homicide.
Henderson was convicted in the fatal shooting of 28-year-old Heather Stewart.
Stewart's body was found last year in her car in a parking lot in Watertown. She had been shot in the head. The complaint says Henderson's baseball cap was found near the body.
Henderson and Stewart had a young daughter. WITI-TV reports prosecutors say Henderson shot Stewart after an argument over money.
The judge ordered a pre-sentence investigation, due Oct. 30. Sentencing will take place about 30 days after that.
